Hi, I’m Jordan

For the last 7 years, I’ve been on a journey of tuning in and trusting the intuitive wisdom of the body and spirit. I had gone most of my life following a logical path – doing well in school, taking part in musical and athletic activities, studying a STEM field, and choosing a lucrative career.

I was miserable.

I suffered from chronic depression and chronic back pain for years. With the help of skilled therapists and bodywork practitioners, I found relief from my pain, and more importantly I found that I had the strength to walk my own unique path. I realized that I had been living someone else’s life, and that I needed to stop and ask myself “What do I want? What is right for me?”

And my baby sense of intuition said, “start by studying the body.” So, I did. I went to massage school, focusing on myofascial therapeutic techniques, learning about the body’s structure, balance, tensions, and movement patterns. I studied a dance called Contact Improvisation, and became deeply interested in Somatics, the study of the experience and sensation of being a body. And through it all, I’ve cultivated a deep respect for social and energetic patterns that shape relationship.

I had been overriding my body’s signals for years – overusing caffeine, popping pain pills, staying in dysfunctional relationship, and sticking with a life path that wasn’t nourishing or feeding me. Chronic pain forces you to listen BUT you don’t need to let it go as far as I did before you do.

Let me GUIDE you into deeper connection with your body. Now is the time for your body to support your life purpose!

During my process, I have come to have a deep respect for dreaming. In my depression, I had become disconnected from my authentic self, my authentic desires and drives. Connecting to the body was allowing me to develop a test for whether something was right for me, but not necessarily giving me clarity on what direction to move with this new clarity.

And then I discovered dreamwork. I was initially introduced to the Jungian work of using dreams to integrate the unconscious into one’s waking life. This did wonders for my anxiety – finally I realized my conscious mind didn’t have to manage everything itself; there is a whole unseen part of me that’s also dealing with this life thing! From there, I was introduced to the work of Robert Moss. His approach, which pulls from a variety of traditions (and his own invention), focuses on TAKING ACTION to honor your dreams.

How can we connect to our fullest selves without reckoning with these nightly experiences? I don’t think we can. Thankfully, dreamwork can be fun and easy! I find it a joy to work with people learning to navigate these inner landscapes.
